"Who made the world like this? Let us strive to pass down a society where no one has to say 'I'm sorry.'"

男らしさの特技のひとつは、あらゆる状況を自分に都合よく解釈することです。僕が選ばれないはずがない。僕を選ばない女は僕を侮辱している。という誤解をもとにストーカー化します。

One of the "skills" associated with masculinity is the ability to interpret any situation in a way that suits oneself. "There's no way I wouldn't be chosen. A woman who doesn't choose me is insulting me." This kind of misunderstanding can lead to stalking behavior.

私も男なので気を付けなければいけません。

Since I am a man as well, I must be careful.

教師としてずっと考えてきたのは、この子たちがこの先、どこでもいつでも生き延びていけるようなノウハウを与えてあげたい、ということ。生き延びるスキルに偏差値は関係ありません。教育の基本は一流校だろうが四流校だろうが、違いはありません。どこでもいつでも生き延びる知恵をつけてあげることです。

As a teacher, what I have always thought about is this: I want to provide these children with the know-how to survive anywhere and at any time in the future. Survival skills have nothing to do with academic scores. The fundamentals of education do not differ whether it is at a top-tier school or a fourth-tier school. It is about equipping them with the wisdom to survive, no matter where they are or when it is.

当法人がさせていただいている社会貢献事業もそのような目標で行うべきと感じました。

I felt that the social contribution projects carried out by our organization should also be conducted with such goals in mind.
